It is by no means an easy task. When you are surrounded by madness the borders become blurred except you have some sane people available in the crowd who keep you grounded. But what happens when there is no-one close by and you need to do it by yourself? Well, you can always manage but it takes a lot of energy and sometimes you may want to give up and give in because you have no strength left. But I recommend you never give up. Instead, give yourself a rest, sit back and watch the madness. In fact, you will find so much absurdity in the mayhem that it will make you laugh. Of course, you cannot trust that you will be safe among the crazy lot, but it depends on your sound mind which kind of strategies to employ to keep as safe and sane as possible. The risk though of being torn to shreds by some of the violently crazy people is ever present. Best way to deal with an arising danger from the mad crowd is to divert any attention on to themselves, so the mob or any of them turn against each other not you. You have to understand that crazed people have no clarity of mind, meaning they have no appropriate assessment skills to judge themselves or others. They act impulsively, irrational and only to the point of self serving and immediate goals. Other people do not arouse their empathy and what is against their wishes and intentions will be the center of their attention, usually met with anger if they feel objection or resistance. Of course, the insane also do not consider consequences of their actions. Their sense of self in context of time and social reality is impaired but not their impulses to act on their desires and convictions. That makes them dangerous. Mind you, it makes them dangerous to themselves too. So! Sitting back and letting them carry on with their weirdness and craziness will allow you to remember what makes you different to them. It will allow you to stay intact, even find amusement, if not loud out laughter. And be patient, for madness will run its course. Though the damage these crazy lot incurs may have overall devastating effects, but since you are caught among them your fate cannot be extrapolated. However, the odds to survive them are better when you maintain your own sanity. ,
