Ever thought about why in the Christian religion God is so generous that he always forgives the sinners? Well, just consider, this religion also tells you that he has created this world, including men. Now that means that he is actually totally guilty for what he has created, including the sinner and he is guilty as hell and thus must forgive, it is not even a choice. Though of course with so much guilt He cannot forgive himself. And that is really the reason why he dispels the guilt and calls it the devil, as all sinners do, never admitting it is their fault for all the horrid things they do. It is called outsourcing responsibility, blaming others for their deeds, or in psychiatric language it is called displacement, meaning the transfer of one's threatening, painful, or greatly unsettling feelings from self to something or somebody else as it seems impossible to actually deal with them being too overwhelming, too devastating to one's integrity. Unfortunately, the consequences are dire as individuals suffer, or end up on the psychiatric couch, or ward. But that is what can be observed on the bigger scale too and, right now, in the destructive attitude of human kind. You always can blame the devil for the evil that happens in this world. No need to take responsibility for your action, because you will be forgiven anyway and really, nothing is your fault. Mind you, evolution has given humans now the ability to discern religious pitfalls and misconception, but do they take it as an incentive to alter their course? Of course not. Old habits die hard and mass needs a momentum, according to its size to initiate motion that could bring change. While some people do not shy away to confront their layers of resistance and work through them to get to the bottom where the core of truth lies, the masses won't. They rather believe in God and Devil being so much more convenient, even if it costs them their lives and no paradise is waiting for them. Caught in delusions, how can anyone really be surprised how crazy this world has become?
